Birthday Party!

I know this is quite a few months away, but my daughter Jordyn is turning 2 years old in January, and my other daughter Jayda is turning 1 year old in January as well. I had a fun little party for Jordyn last year, but since their birthdays are a week apart, I am considering having a joint-birthday party. What do you think? I am worried that it will spoil the point of Jayda's first birthday party. But I highly doubt I could get people to go to two birthday parties in the same month, you know? People don't have the time most of the time, and they have other things they need to do. So what are your ideas? Should I have the party together or separate? I was wondering about the cake idea, and I dont know if I would have them eat their cake at the same time while everyone took pictures and stuff, and the same with the presents. Ugh, I don't know what to do! Help!

Hi friend! I think joint birthday party could turn out to be good and fun. They are still very young and really they wont know how special that day is until they get a little bit older. The more kids u can invite the more fun it would be for ur children. U can hire a clown and think of games that ur kids like. Buy separate cake for them and put theyre name on each one...and let them blow the candle same time. And let them open theyre own presents. THis will save u money and time.

I think my other question is definitely about the present opening. Like, would I have my younger daughter go first because it is her 1st birthday party? Or do I have my older daughter go first, because she is the oldest? I dont know! lol... I am wondering if I should have them go back and forth or something??? I think that might be the easiest. I need ideas! lol

Celebrating your daughters birthdays on the same day is a good idea especially with the present financial crisis. But I suggest to have two separate cakes so they can blow each of their cake. You don't have to buy big cakes. You can have small cake for each of them. The most enjoyable part of a kid's birthday is the part where he/she gets to blow the candle/s on a cake.
