All i did was run through a little bit of rain with my cell in my hand and it's going exorcist on me, for some reason if i want to text someone the numbers on the slider part are working if I want to hit a number and go to that area, but it won't let me actually type in a phone number and my up down and ok and alpha keys aren't working...please tell me that a little bit of rain did not just cost me a new cellphone, i mean i'd like a new phone but i don't want to lose all my ringtones, i've got a million on there and i don't want to lose all the money i put into those...

I think what you can do is let the phone be dry first, you can remove the battery for 12 hours and let it dry, if you have a fan you can just put it near the fan so that it will dry easily and I hope this helps.

well who knows with technology, im definitely not an expert. but what i have heard(and it worked with my phone) is that when you get your phone wet you should take the battery out immediately(but with my phone i didnt and it still worked) and then put the battery and the phone in a ziploc bag of rice and let it stay like that for at least 24 hours. the rice soaks up the water. It worked with my phone although one of my buttons stopped working for awhile(I think because I didnt take the battery out immediately and I kept trying to press buttons which I guess kind of fries it). P.S. it might be hard to take it back at this point because the battery has a dot on it that changes colors and so the cellphone company will know that the phone has had water damage. Hope it all works out.
