Yes it is great for flintoff to retire with Ashes going to England. This match was not good for Flintoff except for the Ponting run out but anyways this is I think the occasion to celebrate his full carrer and not this particular match. And congrats to England for regaining Ashes.

it's true. now England seems very happy. my husband and our neighbours still stay in the garden listening to the radio for the game. This afternoon when we had the Garden Tea Party they talked a lot about it. some neighbours even used their mobile phone to get messages from their friends to keep the information. i like watch the game but i still do get the rule. i just like watching people no matter they are winner or not. but my husband seems affected by the scores a lot. happy mylotting.

It is wheel. For all the team happened like this. They will be in upside for some time and start falling. Westindies were the champions for more than a decade. Then started falling. Then India for some time. Then Pakistan ruled then Srilanka. Now Australians who were champions for long time. Now turn is for some other country. Let us wait and see which is that country.

One thing for you that things are not destined to be yours always. Yes I saw the English players with their best and only because of that they could defeat the uncrowned king of Test Cricket - the Australian team. I never think this as a fluke that England won it. They broke the 75 years of record winning at lords and that was an indication that Aussies are on the back foot.

hii.. ya I thnk England won ashes is fail enough, and ya its a dream time for flintoff to retire bt I am very disapponted with his retirement, I thnk he is nt too old, he should play more test cricket, he is one of my favourite all-rounder in the world cricket, wat u thnk, he should play more even if he is getting injured regularly, I thnk he should....

well amitavroy i think it happened in the australian cricket history.....as Ricky Ponting became the 1st aussie captain after Billy Merdock to lose ashes twice in England
