It seems that Venezuelans do really have great luck in winning a competition like this. Dayana Mendoza, who won last year's crown is also a Venezuelan. Do you think that something fishy is going on with this?lol What do you guys think?

No, definitely nothing fishy. Stefania is real gorgeous although I personally still prefer Dayana. I don't mind Stefania winning or even Miss Australia or Puerto Rico, but definitely not that Miss M.I.C(Made in China)... OMG, what kind of taste China have nowadays, why is it that there are so many gorgeous Chinese girls around in Shanghai, Beijing and Suzhou but they instead choose this average looking girl with the typical 'Cheena' look that give that kind of 'I'm from China' kind of feel... Haiz... as a Chinese I really don't know where to hide my face.

Hahaha. I was also shocked when she came out of stage with that national costume. I was surprised what costume was that?but anyway she won Miss Congeniality, that something great to celebrate for.

As always Miss Universe beauty pageants never short out of controversies. I don't think Miss Venezuela really deserved to win the crown. Miss Australia is much deserving and she is well-poised and exuded charm and self-confidence. Another thing is how the runners up places. Even the dumbest viewer would conclude that Miss Kosovo did not deserved to be a second runner up. She gave a very confusing, startling and fire out answer to the question and yet she was ahead of Miss Australia and Miss Puerto Rico, what a mind-bogging result!

Yes, Miss Australia has the most natural look among them, she was super stunning and carried herself well, even in a "catwalk" parade during the swimsuit portion, her poise and stage bearing were really the best because she done it naturally without hesitation and full of self-confidence. But anyway the result looked like a "home-cook"and tailored to make room for history, you know the first time back to back wins for a country. Gosh! Well, most countries which are visible for the past years in the Universe tilt, are not participating now. One representative, Miss Northern Marianas, pulled out from the contest because of lack of budget according to a wikipedia source. I don't know the reason of other countries.

I don't think so. I think Venezuelans are really more focused on these beauty pageants more than other countries. Meaning to say, the ladies that represent their country are really prepared to compete. Plus the fact that they are really beautiful. Here's the picture of the new Miss Universe: http://www.pinkhues.com/2009/08/23/miss-venezuela-named-miss-universe-2009/

That's just quick knowing Ms. Venezuela won again for the 2nd time around. After all there's no doubt that Venezuela is always on the top whenever it comes the beauty pageant. So I suppose they're just really used to winning and I guess it's not really something that most people get surprised of. I haven't seen the pageant because the telecast is quite delayed here, but I'm sure I'll get to know it later.

I think Venezuelans are just beautiful people and they're too good for beauty pageants. Nothing fishy is going on there.
