I was at a picnic over the weekend with my husband and the company he works for. The park was beautiful and it a very nice area. I needed to use the restroom, so had to go for a little walk to find it. It wasn't that far from the Pavilion that the picnic was at. Upon entering the restroom a sign caught my eye. It said smile, for yur saftey you are being monitored. I didn't think of anything at first. After I told my husband about the sign, I started wondering, Was I being watched as I used the restroom? What are your thoughts on this? I'm kind of freaked out by it.

Let me ask you this - was there anything else in the building that the bathrooms were in? I don't think you're aloud to put video cameras in bathrooms? If that were the case, I would be freaked out because that's just not right!

I'm not really sure. I didn't really look around because at first I didn't think anything of it. I didn't use those restrooms anymore. Next time I needed to go, I told my husband it was time to go home.

If I didn't see the sign, I never would have guessed that I was being monitored. This makes my public restroom phobia worse. :)
