Do you believe what you read here?

I imagine some members of mylot as you say just make things up to talk about. It would be naive to think differently. You just have accept it. Oh and by the way, many people change from real life to on internet. They seem so much different, kind of like completely different people. . Maybe we all seem different on the internet :/

wow, what's the point in lying on a discussion/blog? It's merely opinions you're sharing with others. If someone needs to lie about their opinion to make themselves look good, they got problems! lol I understand what you're saying, but I think it's a little of both...need to make money and it's a way for someone else to hear their voice.

Hey! I sometimes wonder if some of the stories on here are the truth or are they they truth and the person will stretch it some . Yeah, it would be easy to make up a catchy story to start the story going. I think for the most part the stories and people are true because that is life and strange and messed up/ sad things happen each and every day. I think Tho sometimes there are the bad apples thrown in and people on here who just like to mess with people. Happy Lotting!

I think today the internet is already a big part in many people’s life. The online world is no difference with the so called real world. So it’s not surprise some members are lying. I think the most important is that we should have an ability to know which is true, which is doggy and which is false. Also sometimes I don’t mind people making lies if they don’t try to cheat me or get money from me. Also even from the lies I think we can get some useful information. So I suggest you taking it easy. Maybe it’s a good practice for you not being cheated in your real life. Happy mylotting.

Hello Pinkpassion, People in Mylot can be a real one or fake, why to bother this so much. As long as you get the fun of Mylotting here, you can stay happy Mylotting. More ever you are here making some online friends. I admit online friends is so much different from your real life friends. But of course if you are here writing everything in real one, you will meet some one nice too. People here Mylotting no doubt a lot are looking to earn some money. Apart of that, I believe most of us come here everyday as it is 1 of the interest you like or daily routine to come to Mylot.

I could probably be counted really gullible for this, but I actually do believe what I read here, especially when it is in response to discussions I have started. I don't know anyone here in person, and if I did I honestly wouldn't be here, and so I guess that means I don't have anything to compare experiences to like you do. But generally because I tell the truth here, I usually believe that other people will as well. That and my experiences on-line have been really good, so I guess I am conditioned now to just hope that people are honest in what they tell me, or that if they tell me lies they are only small ones and not life changing 'totally different person' sort of lies. It is a touch sad to think that people aren't being honest and are instead just out to make money, but I shall maintain my delusion for now and continue to believe in the general good of humanity (and hope I don't get stabbed in the back in the future lol!) Personalities I don't mind, but real experiences would be a touch more concerning. Just wanted to check!

i think most of the people write true and experienced things while there may be a small percentage of people who do not write upto mark or anything to do with their personal experience. I personally feel, people give their views and different people have always some different to say and have a different point of view. well...they all do their best to explain there discussions and give gud reponses.

Well not everyone is sincere but that is not the reason why you don't come here anymore. It is solely dependable on your reasoning why it is better or not better to come here anymore. I would say it is a matter of preference. If you don't like to listen to those who are lying, you can ignore it. However, the minority(I am guessing) are really into this for real. Don't believe blindly and don't say you believe entirely.That would be blind faith. Please do your research or think on your own without being influence by what you read alone. Reading does not always represent the truth. For example, statistic are often manipulated by politics and influential people.You can say this kind of situation is better left alone. Trust what is really important and real, neglect what is made up.

come to think of it, it never cross my mind to think of the truthfulness of what the members here are posting. whenever i come here i pick my favorite topics read and post comments. sometimes i also come here to find opinions of others because in my observation there are many people here who talk with sense and give good advises. anyway, i think that whatever the reason one come to this site regardless of the authenticity of the topic posted do no matter to me as i am having fun reading all those stories and comments...

No one really sure if one is telling the truth 100%. For me , sometimes I do but on rare occasions I don't. We all know that some of us come here for the money. I do come here first and foremost for the money. But then truthfully and honestly, I do get to enjoy posting here. I get to share bits and pieces of myself. Whether you believe it or not is all up to you.

maybe reading is good habit and why did you treat it,this is personal advice,there is real an unreal things appeared in my life,so when i read something from the book or newspaper,part of them is every attacted me,although the reality is lower from it,but if it lost this from the book and newspaper,maybe little people who would be willing to read it,of course,i can see that what the reality from reading it.

People aren't the same, other likes to tell the truth or lies. It's depends on you, on how optimistic you are. I do believe that there's so many truthful people here. Though I didn't know anyone personally. This is the place where you can speak your mind without any limits, its an opportunity to let other people know who you truly are. It doesn't matter if you truly tell the truth or not, if you really live what you've said or pretend. What matter is you shared your thoughts and opinions. And what you've shared I believe it's mostly come from your heart. That's what truly matters. Have a great day!

I never doubt that, although lie do exist here. I think it's a good place here to talk what you think, as no one know you, you don't have to worry if there is something you talk is silly.

Yes,I believe.That's one of the reason why I come.Although I come here for making a couple of bucks,I really believe what I read here.In my opinion, belief is the most inportant thing.Believing what you read,what you do,is the key. If you don't believe what you are doing,are you happy?

Some people here are honest, so i have no doubt that what most people talk about here is true, so yes, generally i believe almost, everything that people say here.

i think most of it will be close to the truth, it's a good place to air out a few things. that may be bothering you, and not have to talk to someone face to face. so you don't seem silly asking something. some things you can pick up that just don't sound right. you also can get some good laughs round here, and meet interesting people

whether in real life, or online, you are always going meet people who are not always truthful. It is sad, but true. I agree with a previous poster, about having to give people the benefit of the doubt until they PROVE they aren't worthy of it. That, and i guess as 99.99% of the people on here aren't people i am ever going to know in "the real world" it doesn't really concern me wether or not they are telling the truth. I would like to think they are, and would like to think that if thy are looking for comments and sggestions or advice, that it is because they truley need it and are interested, so i still give my opinions. If they were just making something up to get a post in, well, that is thier problem i suppose, but i am going to answer anyways, as someone else might come along, and read my response, and be helped by something i said. As another previous reponder also said, are you refering to their personalities not matching up? Or to the details and experiences in thir life not matching up? Because personalities can be explained. Some people don't interact well, or interact totally differently when they are face to face with a person vs. being able to sit at a computer and type out what they really think and feel. The fear of being judged and looked down upon is greatly lessened when you don't have to be in a face to face situation.

Now that you mention it....you actually make money for writing in the discussion boards??? As far as what people write, its not so much as to the truth, as many people write things, that they may not truly do in life, but want to change in themselves. I can say for myself, that there things that I write, not necessarily only on here, as I am new to the site, but in general, that my friends wont believe that I would write. Most people see these type of places as a way to see themselves as the person they wish to become and things they would like to change for themselves.

I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I try to believe until they give me reason not to. Yes, I admit some people just make that plain hard to do. Only my second day and I'm realizing that.
