Have you ever steeped into a fire ant mound?

I went outside tonight to water a few tree's, and wasnt paying attention to where I was walking, the next thing I knew was I had fire ant's all over my feet and leg's. Talk about nasty little bugger's. Man does it burn and itch.
Have you ever accidently walked into a fire ant mound?
