Short story outline

Okay, here's the situation. I'm having trouble coming up with a good and basic outline for my short story. I only have experience writing long things, like novels. I'm not use to writing a short story, I worried I might make it too long. So, if any of y'all have a basic outline I can use for a short story, I would be forever grateful.

This is funny because I am the exact opposite. Short stories just come out of me without much thought to planning them. Therefore an outline would be nothing more than a point form of broken up sentences that would require rearranging and some basic editing to get them worked into a story. Why do that when it makes more sense to write the story fresh and forthright and then work with it? Longer stories or novel is another story and I can understand the merits of an outline. A fact sheet is one way not to lose track of information. If Billy Bob Tay gets shoot on page 20 it is bad news to have him get into a fight on page 212 unless it is a sci-fi or thriller story. My problem is creating an outline, period. I get blocked in the beginning. Has anyone made one as they go along?
