This is officially not good. I hate pimples! They just pop out especially in your least expected time. I know I need to drink lots of water. Anything else? I can't have enough sleep due to school work, and i really think it is one reason I get the zits. Any suggestions to battle this?

Wash your face as much as you can. It keeps the oil off. Have you tried tea tree oil or witch hazel? They stink, a lot. But they do work. I've been using a blemish stick, it's a roll-on liquid. I think it's witch hazel, but it doesn't say. It reeks though. I apply it every time I go to the bathroom. Got rid of quite a few using it. Dries them up pretty well. Good luck.

yeah, my face kinda gets oily, especially when its sooo hot. I've tried tea tree oil but I think it doesn't work enough to prevent them. Before I use a blemish stick and yes I got rid of a few when I use them. But for now all i want to know is how could I prevent them from just popping out of nowhere?

Avoid chocolate and/or other sweets. Or just go real easy on eating them. I found out Twinkies and cream cheese are a worse culprit than chocolate. Anything you eat that your face feels more oily than normal afterwards, that's a good one to cut down on. Soda, sugared drinks, anything could be the trigger.

OH NO. I have to avoid those? lol :)) Well, For the sake of my skin, I guess that will do for now. My mom does not want to go to the dermatologist anymore since they keep on selling stuff and keep on doing something to our face even though there's nothing wrong with. Pft, just to earn.

Keep doing facial. Wash your face every night you go to sleep. And apply anti-pimple cream on your face.. You'll never have pimples. Apple anti- pimple cream on the most oily parts of your face. And use sandalwood paste.

The two reasons that I know of for pimples is 1]hormonal changes 2] oily skin. If you have pimples due to hormonal reasons, you need to have a talk with your gynaecologist and have the medicine that is prescribed to you. However if you have oily skin, I know of a sureshot remedy that worked for me. This is an old Indian remedy. There is a mud pack of "multani mitti" a kind of soil which is either available in a powder or a rock form which you can grind to fine powder and strain with a fine strainer. Take two tablespoons of the powder, add two teaspoons of sandalwood powder and make a fine paste with three to four teaspoons of rose water. Apply the paste on your face. When dried, you will look like you are wearing a mask. wait until it dries and then wash it off. This should take care of your pimples. Apply it once in three days, initially, then once in a week. There is no adverse effect even if you apply it every day initially, if you find it effective. But it does help to make your skin dry. Along with all this, continue to drink a lot of water, sleep well and in time. Any or all of these remedies should hopefully work for you. Best of luck to you.

Thanks! I Think I'll be trying that kind of remedy. It sucks when you're stressed then all of a sudden a zit pops out of no where.

Here's what my mom tells me: -change my pillow case every few weeks or so -avoid eating any junk food -wash your towel with soap every 2-3 days -wash your face everyday with some sort of cleanser I do like half of these things, but I got to admit that this actually made a difference to my skin. Hope this works for you too.

I also hate pimples. They just come out right before a huge event. I try to prevent this by drinking lots of water to flush out toxins and have plenty of rest. If those won't work, then I just put a touch of make-up to temporary cover it.
