I have drinking pain killers since i was in high school..Whenever I have a migraine, i always take a pain killer? Why?Because this is the only medicine that can take away the my migraine or headache..I once tried a paracetamol but then I did not feel any better..My mom always tells me that whenever i am feeling the head ache, I need immediately to take a pain killer because if i did not take one, I will vomit already because of the pain caused by my migraine..I drink a pain killer almost 4 times a week..I don't even know if that's safe or not..Even if it's not safe, I'd rather still drink it because that is the only medicine that can take away the pain that my migraine gives me..Is it safe to different often or not??

If your general practitioner knows about your frequent pain killer usage then in theory there is nothing wrong about taking them. Just make sure you don't take more than the amount as stated in the leaflet. Pain killer usage can namely cause some stomach problems, as well as even more and severe headaches.

I did not consult a practitioner..My mom just told about the pain killer. She was the one who told me to drink thatRight now, I am not yet experiencing any stomach problems,Will the problems be visible right after I drink the pain killer or it will take time before it will effect?

The stomach problems will only occur after frequent usage of higher doses. It's advised to pay a visit to your GP when you use pain killers for a period of two weeks or longer which seems to be the case.

I would suggest that your doctor would be the best person to answer this question. However when there are times that you are free of the pain you must try Meditation, Pranayam (deep breating exercises) so that the frequency of the pain of migrane is reduced. There is a technique of meditation called "Vipassana". Find out about it on the net or through friends. The Acharya or Teacher himself was suffering from Migrane, that he overcame with this technique of meditation.
