Do you think they have the quality players to win the title again? judging from their recent matches this season, something is seriously lacking in their attack. It is just not flowing as smooth as last season. In my opinion, they look alittle like Newcastle last season. They are seriously lacking any creativity. It is just boring direct football. All their wins are thanks to Rooney and luck. What do you think?

As a Manchester United fan for over 15 years I was absolutely devastated when we lost Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid as he is without doubt the best player in the world and losing a player of his ability would affect any team but I feel that we certainly have the players to win the title again this season. There aren't many better strike forces than Rooney and Owen or Berbatov. Plus with the defensive ability of Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand I can see United winning the title this season. It will be tough as Chelsea with Ancelotti look very good indeed but I feel after Liverpool's start it will be Chelsea who will be United main title rivals this season.

Chelsea do looks like serious title contender this season.

Yeah they look very strong at the moment and have a very deep squad like Manchester United have. With a partnership like Anelka and Drogba they have a very lethal strike-force.

Manchester United is a great and very consistent team with a world-class manager in Sir Alex Fergusson. However, it seems things aren't going to be so smooth for the team this season. The loss of Ronaldo is a big blow although the team can cope without Ronaldo. Apart from Rooney, Nani and Evra, the team has got many young players who are hungry for success. I believe Man U players want to prove bookmakers wrong that the team can do without the former "talisman", Ronaldo. How far will the team go this season? I feel the chance of Manchester United winning the premiership is not so bright. The team will face stiff competition from their perenial rivals: Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal. Moreover, Manchester City, Aston Villa and Totenham Hotspur are equally spoil for a piece of the "big cake". I doubt if Manchester United can make it to the semi-final stage of the European Champions league. The team is in a group that I consider to be tough. Whatever the case may be, we have to wait and see how the team fares as the competitions progress.

Although Ronaldo transfer to Real Madrid, i still believe Manchester United will win the title this season. In a football match,a shining star is important indeed, but most important factors are their fighting spirit, solidarity and unity.

Cristiano Ronaldo was one of the best players in Manchester United and his astronomic transfer to Real Madrid surely has weakened Manchester. However don't forget that Manchester has got a great coach called Alex Fergunson.I'm sure that Manchester United are the favorites to win the Premier League, they just need to improve a little but I think that, by the mont of December, Manchester United could even be better than the lats 2/3 seasons

I think Manchester United will come up short in the Premier League this season - with Chelsea to be champions and Liverpool possibly finishing outside the top four.
