HI I really enjoy walking with my husband on the nature trail at the local park its a really nice trail,we take a 3 mile walk but the path can go a lot farther depending on how far you want to walk. We have been walking for several years together. Sometimes we even walk around the neighborhood at night I especially like it during the fall and winter months I like looking at all the house decorations during the holidays. We usually powerwalk until the last mile then we slow it down a bit and take a hand in hand stroll for the last 1/4 mile . Its a great way to get your excerise and spend time with your spouse. We also take that time to talk about whatever is on our minds, by the time we head home we feel pretty good .I'm sure we will be walking for years to come after all its low impact and has great benifits to it.

I like walking with a partner..We can chat while walking and it will make a long way short..I won't focus on how far I am from the destination..

Hi Entreri Good point about chatting while walking to make the distance seem shorter, walking with a partner does that for me as well.

I love walking especially if the weather in our place is not that hot or the ground is not wet. But most importantly, I would rather walk with someone who is the love of my life (be it with family, friends, boyfriend or a hubby). This would not only make you feel tired during the walk but will give you time to bond with the people you love.

I enjoy both. Sometimes it's nice to have someone to join me on a walk, it does cut the time down. But I generally walk/run alone. I have an ipod & enjoy listening to the music. It's my "free" time to think & it really does help my mental state when I walk alone.
