what do you d when you are in a plane? i can not sleep in the plane as some people intend to do, as i always stay awake and watch all the films thats available, i hate the leg space available, too tight.no matter what air lines you are in. ok some are better service than the other, always leg space the same.i like it when the plane is not full, when it is full, haa, thats just not good.when the plane is not full, than you get the next seat next to you, to youself. thats a cool thing for me.

Well when i was in a plane i did a few things. like for one i talk to the person sitting next to me it was just too arkward not to say anything and act like there was no one sitting next to me. so i started talking to about a 30 year old women for about a hour. she was actually extremely nice. it was hilarious though because we were acting like we weren't strangers and telling everyone to eachother even where we live and why were going where ever. it was dangerous yes but she looked nice enough so i was praying that it wouldn't bite me back in the butt what i was doing. then on the way back home i sat next to this guy he was actually pretty nice to. i didn't tell him everything about me because he was doing bussiness stuff but he did help me find my parents and let me use his cell phone. so basically i talk the whole time or go to sleep. or eat all the free food the people give me there. oh and once my mom bought me alot of magazines for me to read while i was on the plane. that was the first time i ever rode a plane and also it was by myself. i was visiting family so not that big of a problem.

Hello friend, I also am not comfortable sleeping in a flight. I like to take the window seat and look outside but once the plane reaches a particular height, you can't see anything outside but clouds. Then it becomes monotonous and I revert to my novels/magazines/newspapers. The food is served in between as well so that's a good way to kill some time.I also watch the pretty air hostesses.

Hi iCEMAN, Whenever I travel by plane, I always bring my sudoku book. That the only thing I could do ups there beside reading newspaper. I can't sleep in the plane.

There are only two things that I will do, that is reading or sleeping. I always bring a story book or a magazine so that I will not be bored. But I get sleepy as I read and then I will just sit back and sleep the entire flight.

Dear iCEMAN, I had been on MAS (Malaysian Airline System) to New York. IT is approximately 20 hours with transit at Stockholm (1 hour). Thank God, this long hauled flight is equipped with individual tv screen with in-house entertainment. They screen many current Blockbuster and animation...you can choose the channels you want! So, I am glad that I managed to catch-up with so many blockbusters that I missed like Die Hard 4, Kungfu Panda etc. The have computer games too. For children they have this animation screenings, games, child activity pack & toys. In between you may order drinks & titbits and play the pokers cards with friends.. But my recent flight via Gulf Air to Bahrain/ Egypt do not have this facilities..they only have a few bigger screen in the plane, so I cannot really foucs on the shows...what I did was:- 1) play some games with my son: just need papers & pen - master mind, tic-tac-toe, names' list games, etc. Gulf Air also provide children activities pack with a great book 'Alexander the Great', I myself enjoyed reading it:). 2) my husband will read newspaper, do 'sudoku' -puzzle, me too..lol I brought along with me some jokes book to read. 3) make new friends who also bored..and we end up as friends till today. Great isn't it?? 4) Check our camera and delete whichever photograph that needed to delete so got more space for new destinations. If it is on the way back, we will go through and enjoyed all the photos that had just taken. 5) Rest and sleep...actually a nap! Totally agree with, if the flight is not full, we can even lie down straight on those empty seats. Therefore the best time to travel is during non=peak season.. The best airlines so far I think was Cathay Pacific (Hong Kong airlines) Full of new amenities, facilities and make the flights enjoyable We are never bored, coz they have lots of new movies, comfortable seat & wonderful meals:) Tks and hope to hear your views on my topics too

I also cannot sleep in the plane. I watch the movies being offered on board. Normally they have pretty good movies, which gets me through the flight. Some planes also offer nice games which will in making your flight more enjoyable.
