Or better yet, could you please call first and leave a message. I call you back at my earliest convenient. I work from home everyday and there's always someone knocking at the door that don't work and wants to come visit while I'm working. This they do know, but visit anyway. If I lived alone, I won't answer the door or phone. I always politely let them know that I am working so they could leave. Not! It's one quick question or two. Sometimes I'll say I'll call them later, but I usually don't. I might have to go to the library or something, just to get some work accomplished. During the day is rough, so I spend late nights early mornings on my work when it's the quietest. Like now, I soooo sleepy.

I guess these people do not realize that even though you are home, you are still at work. I am glad that you at least stand up and tell them that you are busy. But, you would think that after the first time or two, they would ask when is a better time to stop by. And make it on your time, instead of their free time. Or maybe they could at least call ahead of time, and then you would save them the trip. That is unless they are out and about anyway, and are just bored, so they stop by because you are such an interesting person to talk to. :)

I'm too helpful and they know that I will stop whatever I'm doing to give them my full attention every time. But, when I know I absolutely need to get work done, I just excuse them (not me). LOL. thanks for your response.
