Fiction is an extension of our lives?

Reading a fiction, especially a fantasy, is really an amazing experience.
Someone said that fiction is an extensino of our own lives, and it can reach where we can reach. What do you think of this point?

Yes that is very true, because when we read about fiction things, it almost allows us to imagine that we are in another world, where there are no boundaries and we can do almost whatever we want. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

Fiction sometimes is an extensions of our lives, but not always. If you say that harry potter & lord of the rings are extensions of our lives, then I may disagree with you. Many at-times they are inspired by real life stories. If you read many books, you will feel as if its real
