Just curious as to how many people started reading the series before it became unbelievably popular. I think it was even on Oprah's book list

I started reading Harry Potter RIGHT before it became very popular. I love the entire series. I have read all the books and seen all the movies, except the last one, which I am dying to see. Hopefully it will come out on TV soon! Also, I cannot believe at one point it was on Oprahs MUST READ list! Thats how popular it got!

Its crazy right? I too have read the entire series (twice) and seen all the movies. I even heard they were making the final book into 2 movies.

I started reading the first book at around the time the first movie came out. Now that the series is over... I'd say I've read all of them at least 6 times each.

I read it maybe 1 year before it became explosively popular. I was really quite surprised.
