May i Get a Beat Response????

Hello friends,
Its around two years ago since i joined in Mylot,And on passing this 600 posts am just having only few best responses.Many of us have no habit of marking best responses,i used to mark best responses.I think,its a good way to encourage and give thanks for giving such a good response.Do you have the habit of marking best responses?
How many Best responses that you have?

Hi abhaijith,
I try to mark the best response to all my discussion. I have 5 more discussion without best response mark. 2 of it will be there forever if no one respond to it. But the other 3 will be resolved in a few days.
Best response is courtesy of the discussion starter (DS). We may think that our response is the best response but the DS might think otherwise. There are a lot of good responses in one discussion and it is hard to choose the best among it. So, it is hard to say why they didn't mark the best response.

Yeah you are right ,some times it may be difficult to mark a best response.For me there always be more than one best response in page,i don't know why,and how to give a best response.It may be because of all Mylotters are very intelligent people.

I have 2, granted by others and I have marked best response to all started by me discussion that had more than one answer.
Obviusly, is a way to say thank you to people answering and encourage them to answer too in future.
However, what happen with you, in 2 years only 600 answers ?

I think getting a best response depends on how we respond to the discussion & how impressive we are. But there are many people who never gives best responses. The advantage of giving one is that in future they will actively participate in your discussions. well that's what I feel

Hi,
I joined around two months back and I have 5 best responses till now.I think I could have had more if I was more actively participating in every discussion but I generally respond to few topics and only those which I am interested in.I have not responded to more than 10 posts in a day if I am correct.Getting a best response also depends on how well you have addressed the discussion and expressed yourself.Also I have noticed that longer,well-written and in fact,well-thought out responses are awarded with best responses here.I think the more active you are the greater are your chances of getting marked as best responses.Your discussion has in fact urged me to participate more in every discussion posted here and I think I will start doing so from now.As for myself,I do award best responses for the discussions I have started but only after some time has elapsed so that I have got enough responses from those who are interested in sharing their views.But it is true that I initiate few discussions here.I wish you all the luck for getting awarded with many more best responses in the time to come.
