Why don't you screen them first before you date them? Ask the person who set you up questions about that guy. List the things that a guy must have, if he passes, then yo go out with him. If not, then don't go out with him. Love will find you, just be positive that you will find him.

Yes I have felt like you are describing, and that is when I prayed and came to the realization that I am not meant to have someone in my life right now. This is a very personal decision and not one for everyone. I am happy with my choice and more at peace than I have been in a long time. Dating is one of the hardest things we do as humans. It is hard being alone, but it gets easier over time. When/if God is ready for a man to be in my life then He will send him in my direction. In the mean time I will fill my life with the things I enjoy. I have a full happy life and I would not change it for anything. Even though parts of dating can be fun it is like most other things in life, you get out of it what you put in and I was no longer able to put forth the happy effet that dating requires. when it becomes a chore it is time to stop doing it for a time.
