what brand of charcoal is the best?

Personally, I think that Kingsford is the best charcoal that you could want to buy. At least, that's usually what we use, and it tends to turn out well. TTFN

There are all sorts of charcoal, but as for the best? I'm sorry but I couldn't even begin to tell you that. It's sad, I really wanted to reply to your discussion! But you see, We typically just have to buy the cheapest brand of charcoal. Is it the best? I hardly think so! It takes forever to light, forever to start burning, forever before you can start cooking. So I guess there are better brands out there. At least, I sure as heck hope there are. And, I do hope this was actually the sort of charcoal you were asking about. heh ^_^
