I have a Compaq HP. I it did let me know that someone was trying to get information on from my computer? Did you ever experience that before? I didn't know wheter or not to trust this information or not! My computer did that for the first time. Give me your views about this. I am not that good on computer still learning. Thanks in advance.

If this is the first time your computer has warned you that someone is trying to gain access to your computer, then trust it. It shows your software is working. We have a triple firewall (one provided by service provider, one provided by AVG and one provided by Windows) all 3 work together, and all work on areas the other's neglcet. We haven't yet had a problem with anyone even coming close to gaining access, besides, my computer log in is password protected, and Windows Defender requires my permission to do anything! LOL

This is true. I'm sure one of your security providers will be able to tell you. I have my Windows Defender and Firewall on plus a not very effective MacAfee. LOL! But with all of them working together you should be secured.

It is always recommended to have more than one security system, as no one system gets everything. I just get annoyed that I have to grant permission all the time to do anything, including changing my desktop wallpaper! LOL

my computer always tells me that when my boyfriend goes on sites he's not supposed to go on. i'm constantly fixing this darn thing. i've decided that i'm going to get myself a laptop and noone is going to touch it. don't ever trust something that just pops up if you have a good virus scanner on your puter just do a regular scan.

I will get a warning if someplace I am going isn't safe to be. I also get warnings for viruses, stuff like that too.

I think it will inform me I am using eset nod32 and it is good in making a warning, protection and have a string anti-virus and firewall. Then, I make sure my computer have frequently updated security ..

I am using ESET NOD 32 Business Edition which provides a trustworthy firewall. I have their Smart security + Windows Firewall which work along in tandem. Lol, sono worries. And yeah, I have a third party application which is programmed mainly to detect any intrusions into PC i.e. remote connections, it works well too.
