Back to school today,are you going to miss them?

I am a working mom with 2 jobs,but my son just started grade 1 today.It mean he will be in school full time,i have mix feeling about it.I am glad because he will be busy all day with school and friends,but at the same time i will be missing him when i work everning,that mean i won't get to see him(just in the morning)I was wondering about other mom like me,how do you feel about it?

Well, I'm not a mom, I'm a dad, but I'll chime in on this one. I started a thread yesterday that was a bit like this one, but my baby started college yesterday. I was thinking back over the years, back to her fisrt day of kindergarden, her first day of highschool, her first prom and such. The time goes so fast, enjoy it now, it will be gone before you know it, there is so much we can miss if we don't savor every second of these times.
Incidently, I see your from Kingston, I LOVE that town, used to spend a lot of time in the Brockville and Athens areas and used to visit Kingston quite a bit, great place.

I know time goes by so fast it's scary,my son is only 6 yrs old but today he didn't kiss me goodbye
.He is not a baby anymore,he is a BOY,a little man and i am very proud of him i just have to be ready and prepare that my son will not be a little one for much longer.Thank you for your anwser,i hope you daugther enjoy college,you must be proud.
