Beating the heat

During the summer season, which appliance do you use? A ceiling fan, table fan or an Air Conditioner? We have ceiling fans fitted in all the rooms and in the Hall. In the kitchen i have one table fan, because the ceiling is not that height.

We mostly use fans to cool the house in the summer, but if it gets to the point where it is too hot and humid we will turn on the Air conditioner. I do not like the air conditioner so we only use it when absolutely necessary.

Hi dlr Yes, i too do not like air conditioner, as we must completely keep that room air proof and sound proof in this process the natural air can not enter inside our house and so also the natural light. If I go to my sister's house, i will switch off the a/c and switch on the fan and keep the windows open for some time to allow fresh air inside and also some natural light
