Why do Women more than men love candles so much?

I always wondered what attracts women to candles more so than men? Is it because straight men feel non straight if they light a scented candle? What is the stigma attached to men and candles?

Candles are small and often come in pale or romantic colors (lavender, white, red etc). Scented candles smell like perfumes. Candles in general are small and slender. Candles give off a small, warm, bright flame. In American culture at least it's not hard to associate these qualities with womanliness.
However, I have seen men light candles before.
