This link is to my uncle's sisters first ever published children's book.
My uncle recently passed away from diabetic complications and in his sister's second book she has written a "In Memory of" for my Uncle Tom.
I'm so proud of her and my heart just melted at the fact that she did that for him. I love my uncle and miss him very much.
I also just went to the site and saw the cover and read the little bit of background of it and fell in love with it, without even reading it. I can't wait until I have the money to order my own copy for me and my kids. I just know that everyone will just love this story.
Please just take a look even if you have no children or no intentions of buying it. You never know, you may decide to get it for someone special as a Christmas gift.

Hello everyone. I am Susan Pennington-Hurtubise, the author of "The Adventures of Toby and Doby" as well as the Aunt of Camomom. At least I like to think of myself that way. My brother was her Uncle and thought highly of her. I am so pleased that she is proud enough of me to want to help share my joy and excitement in the release of my first Children's Book. I am as sure as she is that once you check it out you too will want one for your very own. I have taken this story around quite a bit over the past year in preparation for its release and it has met with some fantastic reponse. I made several trips to schools throughout Ct., NY and Canada where I live now and at each stop, children were lining up to ask where they could get one so they could find out the ending. Several moms I know borrowed a copy to read to their children at bedtime and said that each night not only their children but themselves as well looked forward anxiously to see what would happen next. Some of the children even played pretend, each portraying a different character in my book. The response for me has been overwhelming and I am so happy that I am finally able to reach out worldwide to share my little friends with everyone. Enjoy!

Oh this is sooo neat!!! I am a teacher and LOVE books! Unfortunately I'm unemployed right now, but soon once I have an income again I just may have to purchase this book. It looks great!
Must be really neat knowing someone who published their own book!

I don't know her very well. I haven't seen her since I was about 8 years old or so. It is still exciting though. Thank you for the interest. I don't work either and money is tight but as soon as I have the money I'm buying it for my kids and all my nieces and nephews.

As soon as I hit submit on this response I'm going to take a look at the link you provided. That is so exciting. Besides Jillhill, I don't know anyone who has had a book published. What an honor, and such a great thing to have accomplished in life. And such a great tribute to your uncle.

it is a good news for your family.congratulations,your uncle's sister is so great.she can record the things happend in her life.one of my friends have already published his book sevaral days ago.and maybe i will write a book for myself and the person who arround me.en ,it sounds good,i will have a try~
