First & foremost you need to select a hand full of good programs to start with that pay decent commissions (at least enough that satisfies you and your efforts). Then market the heck out of it all over the web. You can write articles, create websites and blogs, post in forums, etc.. just keep it quality and provide useful information to visitors, there's no need to spam. Your job as an affiliate market is to effectively "presell" your visitor so that they will be warmed up once they hit the merchant site you send them to. Once they arrive there hopefully they will convert into a sale or lead which will generate great commissions for you!
