alright, here it is---- i was invited to see a program sponsored by a certain organization in the school where i used to study. it's a post grad school. it was really great to see all it's recent members working together to put up a great show. i merely observed along with my friends. of course, we've been there before, we've done that, haha! before the end of the show, the emcees called the org's president and so the pres came up on stage, mentioned everything she has done and addressed her colleagues as "my members". well, personally i didnt like it. because it seems like the leader took all the credit by herself without commending her comembers in public. well, i believe that's the right term to say. because those people didn't join the org to work for her but to actually be a member of that org. in fact some of the senior members (totally ahead of her in terms of membership) are still there. ive been to so many orgs during school days not to mention the professional orgs. don't worry, am not airing sentiments here. this has already been discussed within the group as well as the happenings behind the curtains. i just want to know how will u handle it when u're in that scenario. tnx!

Could it had been that she was limited to her introductions...Time limit? If not then yeah I would say she handled herself just a little offish. She could have mentioned you by name and your colleagues. Me personally I would have give credit where credit is served and not just to myself. Sounds to me she did not handle herself very well....She needs to give the public speaking to someone who knows how to speak in public.

yes rajunpaul, it's good to do that. what i didnt like was the way she addressed the group as if claiming them as her members. thanks! ü
