A Beautiful Lake

I used to watch "Bonanza" and the show's story-line was about a late 1800's family living by a lake called Lake Tahoe; I always wondered what it really looked like. Never in my wildest thoughts did I think that I would get to see it in person. But I did, my 2nd husband *(I was widowed over 7 years) took me there on our honeymoon. We both enjoy the same old programs and he knew that it would be a delight for me to see it. This was in the month of January 2006 and there was some snow on the ground there. It was very beautiful and so nice to see it.

Yes, Lake Tahoe is beautiful. The Bonanza restaurant closed down where they used to film the show. i was so sad when i found out.We vacation in Lake Tahoe at least once a year.
