Oudin takes out No. 4 Dementieva

Young 17 year old American beat the No.4 in the world in three sets. Inspite of a heavily wrapped left thigh that required a trainer, Oudin kept her cool and won in the third set. Now she will face the winner of the Sharapove vs. McHale(another young American) that takes place tonight.

Yeah Oudin played very well but if her fitness levels should come to 100% when she takes on Dementieva if not she will be in danger of losing the match. Let us hope for the best...

oudin is a nice young talent. its good to see someone from the US comming to lead. it has been long since US women circuit produced good players since william sisters came in, and boy, they have been already here for over a decade. so its good to see a non williams comming women tennis start from the US.

I was so surprised that Elena lost to Oudin. I thought that Dementieva can win Us Open, maybe next time.
