The In-laws........Thumbs Up Or Thumbs Down? Whats Your Experience Been?

I have never met my in-laws they both died before I met my husband his mom died when he was about 10 and his dad passed away when he was 15 he lived with his aunt and uncle until he became an adult and went to college . I used to ask my husband do you think your mother and father would have liked me? I never got the chance to find that out in person from them,but my husband assures me they would have liked me a lot:-) I'm sure many people get along very well with their inlaws which is great I am equally as sure that there are those who do not,for a variety of different reasons.There have been many movies,TV sitcoms and even cartoons dealing with in-laws and usually they don't get along lol. Like Fred Flintstone didn't like Wilma's mother Ralph Cramden didn't like Alices mother ect..there was a 60's sitcoms out called the The Mother In Laws I have forgetton the namss of the actors except for Kay Ballard I do remember her (Maybe some of you out there who respond to this can remember some of the tv programs I mentioned:-)
