If memories are just like files stored on the disk,I want to delete the bad ones

Past things are collected by our brain as memories.We can even recall things happened in the childhood.Some are still vivid,some are vague. Our brain is just like a computer,the memories like files stored on the haid disk. When you try to recollect something or you memories be woke up accidently,it's like the files be read into the memory of the computer. Are there any bad memories for you? maybe sufferings,awkward things,horrible experience,which you don't want to mention forever.But bad memories are alwayes haunting. If memories are really like files on the disk,I want to delete some of them,so my life will be more perfect. What do you think?
