Just curious, what browser do you use and why you choose it instead of others?

Opera browser for mylotting. Opera 10 is out and has a much better spell check ala firefox's way of doing it. Firefox is used for browsing the net but due to memory issues its becoming used less and less by me. And with Opera: during a response I can hit back and check on the thread, then hit forward to continue posting. Its neat and it saves me the trouble of having to retype things or cut/paste. The note feature is also neat since you can save up longer posts fast and then post them without opening Word or Notepad++.

The memory on firefox just goes on and on until it crashes and I mean RAM usage. Tried the common fix but that did nothing. To check it out, just go to Windows Task Manager and then look for firefox. Note how much memory it is taking and before you close out of your session take a look again. It could be add ons, but I only have essentials so I'm sure that's not it at all. Definitely not viruses or anything of the sort. Plus this memory problem has been a growing issue with newer iterations of firefox (resulting in some people wanting firefox 1-1.5)

Thanks for the info. I just know that. I checked mine, yes you are absolutely correct. It used memory a lot, in fact, it's the biggest among others and increasing.. It looks like I have to use Opera more often now

I use Safari because it integrates well with my other Mac apps, such as Mail, iCal, and iPhoto. When I designing Websites, I use Firefox with all its Web development tools, such as Firebug. I've used both Opera and Flock on occasion, but if Internet Explorer were the only browser available, I think I'd quit Web surfing.

From all the replies, no one is given a positive response on IE. Your comment is making it worst . I never have safari, I may want to try it, just to find out what is the different with my favorite firefox . thanks for the response

Hey, I actually use Firefox as my web browser, I actually think that Firefox is probably the best browser that anyone can use, at least that is what I think so anyway. I have tried all the others, and none of them came close to Firefox. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

I used to use Firefox because it was fast and I liked it the most, but then it froze one day and I took it into best buy to get it cleaned and they replaced firefox with internet explorer. So now I use internet explorer alothough I still prefer firefox.

Firefox. I've thought about switching to Chrome, but quite frankly, I'm just a little too lazy to. Internet Explorer has always been buggy for me, so I never use it on my laptop.
