How organized are you?

I had a job interview the other day? One of the questions that was ask of me was this: How organized are you? As a teenager then there was this man who influenced me in many ways who taught me how to organized my schedule and my task for the day. I never knew that its significant yet I begin to practice it. This is how we do it, AT the beginning of new day we list the things we need to do and then place numbers according to priority. Throughout the day as we accomplished one task after the other, we check the item on our list. So we get to tract our "done" items and if there are more left... we carry it over to the next days list. My interviewer was I guess satisfied with my answer.

Hello beaushell.. I first want to ask. Do you get the job? I like the way that you get yourself organized. I had never thought of putting things into a number order. I think I will start to use your method. I have never been one to be organized and it has cost me alot of time. Now maybe with your help that I can start to be a little more. I think that is a very good way to get things done, I do much the same in my daily planner, I have always written thing down so I know exactly where I stand for the day...its good to be organized..

Yes, that practice has been very helpful to me and my other previous jobs. Especially when there are deadline and papers or documents involve.
