from the show home extreme makeover. Last week it was announced that some family in Owensboro, KY will have their home redone. Of course they have not announced who it is in advance, just that five families are being considered. This is pretty exciting and everyone seems to be talking about it wondering who it is.
What do you think about this show? Personally I love it and I tear up a bit each one I watch...okay I cry.

Very cool. I like the show but haven't watched in a while. My brother in law got to work on a house that they did the Extreme Makeover on.

That is awesome your BIL volunteered. I wanted to sooooo bad, but I did make it for the "move that bus" day. ANd it was so fun to be part of the taping of the show. We chanted move tht bus like three or four times before the family even showed up.
It was wonderful that it happened for this area. And hopefully people will take the initiative to continue to help others.

That is such exciting news...wow! I wished they would go to my mom's house. I wonder how you nominate someone. She is always helping people out. It seems like she does as much, if not more, for other people than she does for herself.
I noticed this was posted 5 days ago. Did you find out who it was? Owensboro is a decent size city. I wonder if it was anyone that you knew? I don't think they have ever visited our area, but that would be pretty cool if they did.
