What are Blogs?

When people here the word blogs, they think of the old sci -fi movie called the blob, about a red, deadly giant pile of goo. Blogs are actually a piece of written text, usually written as a continuing series on a certain subject. However, They can be written about almost any subject. There are business blogs, how to blogs, peple blogs, current event blogs and my daily words of nothing blogs. Can anyone say twitter. What are your favorite blogs?

i think blogs are just a means of sharing your thoughts and experiences in life. i tend to think of a blog as a public diary..

I haven't really gotten into blogs, or Twitter for that matter, I guess I am happy with just being on Facebook, that can keep one very busy, I look at blogs as being a mini webpage, like have your own webpage but not not really hahahahah
