it's like computation
there's a situation
with no emotion
until the devotion
of the keys hit the screen
and man it's obscene
how drama can occur
in this blur
of sidetracking from reality
and today I think
that in a blink
I'll be gone
new life
new song
a figment of my past
haunts my every last
bit of my heart
and still I fall apart
every glance
and every notion
and I know I can't give my devotion

of life
and reputation
and my imagination
