Does anybody know of any ChaCha alternatives?

I have a few friends who are ChaCha guides and swear that it's one of the best ways to make money online. I'm really interested in trying it out, but every time I've tried to apply I've gotten a message that says something like "ChaCha isn't accepting new guides at this time." So I was wondering... does anyone here know of any services that are similar to ChaCha and pay you to answer questions? I know there's at least one, and I see ads for it on TV a lot, but I can't for the life of me think of what it is right now. Things are finally picking up for me at work again, but I could really use a way to make some decent extra money on the side!

Well, you could have tried to begin with explaining what is ChaCha all about? Otherwise people will be clueless as to which alternatives they could point out for you. So what's this ChCha all about? What exactly are people "guiding" there?

waani86, I'm a little confused. ChaCha doesn't accept guides from your location, so how would you have any experience with the "competition" on there?? Out of curiosity, how much have you earned from that site you're trying to promote here? My friends have been able to make $100 or more in a single week on ChaCha, and I've seen proof. They don't have to enter contests to get that amount, either.

KGB is another text message site like ChaCha. I was lucky enough to get into ChaCha before they closed down new registrations, but they've also lowered their pay amount. But check out KGB.com as they are always looking for new people to answer questions. You have to take a test to see if you qualify but you can take it as many times as you like before you pass. Last time I checked they pay about 10 cents per question, a little less than ChaCha. Good Luck! XOXO Busie

Ah, that's the one I've been trying to think of! Thanks! I hadn't heard that ChaCha's decreased the amount they're paying. The last I really heard about it, they were changing the payments to be category based instead of rewarding guides for quantity or something like that. I was really hoping to get into ChaCha because their debit card sounds so convenient. I guess I'll just keep checking back regularly, and sign up for KGB in the meantime if they'll have me. Thanks again for the info and link!

ChaCha is paying less than .02 a question. It is really hard to make money with them since they went to the point system. I am sticking in there and do it when I am bored.
