my stepson is 9 and i need help

my stepson is 9... hes a great kid we have always gotten along but now it seems he is going through "horomones" please help, i have no clue what to do with a nine year old. i have 2 kids myself but they are only 3 and 5.

he seems to be having problems with controling his life or letting other peoplehelp him with things going on. his father always had custody and he has been living with him and his grandparents now he cant seem to deal with furthering anything in life. he cries all the time, in public (malls etc), i feel that a 9 year old kid is to old for that. i understand that they get angry when they dont get there own way but i had never seen a kid of that age actually cry for it. it makes it very hard specially when i am trying to teach a 3 and 5 year old that crying doesnt get what you want.

One day at a time if what its going to take. And he needs to now who the boss is you and his dad are. He needs to now that and learn to accept that. Just give it one day at a time.
