I know this is kid stuff but i just wanna know if there are still some of you that keep their money on their piggybank. I've actually tried this last year and I was able to save $140 in 6 months, not bad eh? I remembered it was the shape of a cigarette and it was knee-high. Have you tried this recently? How much were you able to save?

We still have piggy banks. We put all our pennies and loose change in our bank. Amazing how much money it all adds up to. Every few months we treat ourselves to a nice dinner or nice day out with our savings.

yes, i have a piggy bank in the shape of a mud pot. so, i put my pocket money in it, the most good thing about the pot is that, the money is safe enough even from me becoz if i need a chocolate i cannot take the money out of the pot, the only way to get the money is to break the pot and get the change. but also a new time to buy another piggy bank.

140 dollars in six months is very good. My family used to have this huge jar to keep change. It sat by the front door and we would just put coins in it when we come home. We went to one of the coin machines and got about sixty dollars. It was pretty nice. Bought some groceries

yeah we still have one thou it's more my sons, we put he money found round the house in it and change from the car. i get the money out on bank day each week, depending on much is in the piggy bank. if it's just small change, i leave it there and let it build up. but the most we've collected from round the place over time is about $100.

Yes, I do. I use an old baby powder bottle as my piggy bank. The biggest I have saved in it so far reached almost a thousand. Well, almost. The money in this piggy bank of mine is always taken during small emergencies. My husband used to laugh at me because of this habit of mine but now I can tell he loves it. He always has something to reach out to when he needs some pennies. :)

Hi There, No not now. In my childhood days i used to save money into piggy bank it feels very good since you get more money at once. It is most safe place for every children to keep their money into. so whenever you get an extra money put some part into piggy bank. As you get mature you do forget piggy bank since you can keep those money into a Big Bank's saving account.
