clicking ads while internet surfing

Lot of people create website and put up google adsense or similar pay per click ads on their website with an intention of earning money. In fact I also have a couple of website with google ads on them. Hence I am wondering how many people do click ads while surfing internet. Do you click ads while surfing on internet? If yes, how often do you do that? If no, why not?
