As a mom who's always out looking for a good bargain to fit our family budget, I am one who do avail of sale items when they the offers are reasonable. But I hate it when I see sale items that are meant to deceive buyers. For instance, some stores would put a Buy One, Take One sign on a product that normally sells for $1.00 each. But the sign says Buy One, Take One for $1.99 Heck, you only save 1 cent! But if you are not a frequent buyer of that product, you are most likely to be fall into the trap. I hate stores who do promotions that way :(

yes, there are stores who do that here, too. if u are not a frequent shopper, u would be deceived thinking that u got a good bargain. still others display expired items and customers are deceived into taking them into the counters and buy them. good if u discover that fact when u are still at the store because u can just immediately drop it off. the sad thing is when u have left the store and have to come back for it to be replaced or returned. instead of saving, u incur another expense in going back to that store. still others do not bother to have it replaced especially if their place is far from the store.
