My Top Ten Anime

Yeah ok, I'm bored so I'll just write this...whatever...this is a list of the ten anime I consider best right now, of course this list can change at any minute...too bad there's no edit button anyway with that cleared let's go... #10 - Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters is about....well you all know what it is about, a children's card game played by adults...as littlekuriboh called it fits perfectly (if you don't know who LK is then SHAME ON YOU). Too bad 4kids had a face-down trap card called DUB and ruined it... #9 - Azumanga Daioh"Tsukurimaso! Tsukurimaso! Sate Sate ni ga dekiru ka na?"I don't know if that's right I did it without looking it up but I think it was something like this...anyway...Azumanga Daioh is a very funny anime kinda like Lucky Star about a class of girls...kindas like lucky star its pretty hard to describe the "story" because there really "isn't" any...maybe it would be better if I just said "GO WATCH IT!", or maybe it would be better if I just said "SATA ANDAGI!"... #8 - Suzumiya Haruhi I'm sorry if I offend any espers, aliens or time travelers here by putting Haruhi at 8 but to me that's what it deserves, after all, KyoAni seems to like that number, isn't that so, ENDLESS EIGHT!? By all means, Mikuru Asahina no Yuutsu, oh sorry, I meant, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu is a good anime about...something...and something else...with sugar on top. Well, it follows the life of Haruhi, a girl still in school and her classmates, the so-called SOS Brigade and well, it just follows their life along with everything that comes from being friends with a girl that has the power to change reality at will, a time traveler, an alien and an esper...yeah... #7 - Bleach This is one of the first anime I watched so even if its not that good or has a lot of filler (isn't that right, MANGA?) I still like it enough to give it a decent place in my top ten. Its a fighting anime focusing mostly on sword fights. Anyway the main character, Ichigo could see ghosts all his life and meeting with the Shinigami Rukia one day changed his life, now he fights bad spirits called Hollows as Rukia's substitute since she was injured but apparently Rukia giving him her power to save his family was forbidden in Soul Society (the shinigami world) so Rukia was taken there and now Ichigo must go save her... #6 - Lucky Star This is another difficult one to say something about...Anyway its some girls doing stuff again, but unlike Azumanga Daioh this anime focuses more on moe, moe, moe, moe, moe and more moe. I guess you could also say that if Azumanga Daioh was a "comedy" anime this is a "parody" anime. The difference being that Azumanga has less references to other shows and more comedy created by stupid situations and character development and Lucky Star is kinda the opposite of that...either way they're both good so go watch them to have a laugh. #5 - Dragonball Z You all know about this, right? Then you must know the reason I have this so high in the list...I mean is there ANYONE that watches anime that hasn't watched or at least know what DBZ is about? #4 - Ghost Hunt Go ahead, think about all the anime you've watched can you find any like this one? Didn't think so...Ghost Hunt gets a perfect 10 in originality and also for the story, too bad they haven't made a second season...because novel-wise that's where the story actually gets interesting, if they had I'd probably have this at third or second place...have you thought of how any of these anime would be if they were left incomplete? That kind of thing happened although if you only watch the anime you won't know that its left incomplete but you will still wonder about a few things...Anyway its about Mai, a high school student that through a turn of events was forced to work for a ghost hunter and then she joined him in general and now with some other people (a buddhist monk, an exorcist and a shinto priestess) they go to people's houses (mostly) investigating stuff to see if there're any spirits wandering about...Its really, really sad that there's no second season (and probably won't be) but oh well, what can we do...really though, every interesting thing that's more interesting than what has already happened happens then... #3 - Toradora!I really only watched this anime because I was bored, I really underestimated romance anime before I watched this, after the ending I was "Oh emm gee... awesome" only to find out that the novel had an even better ending. Anyway at first its kind of slow and all and it seems its a slice of life-centered anime but after a point it drops that and starts acting like a romance-centered anime but I guess thats to be expected by a tsundere anime...oh well, just watch it anyway... #2 - Death Note Oh Yeah! Death Note, that's the second anime I watched...and the first anime I actually got my mother to watch...Since I've been writing this for a long while now (very long while) I just want this thread to end and since Death Note is pretty popular I'm going to assume you know what it is and why its number 2. #1 - Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Out of the 68 watched and 10 watching anime I've registered in my anime-planet profile I chose this as my favourite anime of all time, why? The answer lies somewhere between "its freakin' awesome" and "its one of the most emotional and sad anime I've watched". Honestly, at the beginning I wasn't all that excited but with more and more episodes of the first season I started liking it more and more. I think it was around 20 that I seriously started thinking that its a pretty good anime, even though the animation was clearly bad...Think about it like this, there's a group of kids that die, and then the anime shifts to a parallel universe type of thing, I don't wanna spoil anything so...no one is aware of that except two characters. Anyway with every new story stuff have changed like characters' attitudes and backstories and every time we learn something new and other stuff happens so its never something that you've seen before. Anyway I really have been typing for over an hour so I just wanna stop...so yeah...bye.

From all the shows you mentioned, I only saw Azumanga Daioh. haha :D My favorite character is Mihama Chiyo-chan, she's so cute and smart. That anime was really a great stress reliever for me. I watch it every time I need a good laugh. Even if I watch the episodes over and over again, I still laugh at the funny scenes. It may be full of seemingly nonsense dialog, but the characters are so quirky and hilarious. I also like Osaka-chan, I have a friend who looks like her..haha :D Other anime that I love watching include: - Ouran High School Host Club - Kaichou Wa Maid Sama - Gakuen Alice - Skip Beat - It Started With a Kiss - Crayon Shin Chan - Doraemon - Mojacko - Ghost Fighter - Detective Conan ...and many more...

I'm not gonna type anymore per series but I'll go with the genre and animation studio doing it First: Bandai Entertainment - The wonderful world of Gundams is brought to you by this company. Arranged in order of my favorites are Gundam 00 the Gundam seed and the rest follows. Kadokawa Entertainment - This company has brought us the funny/comedic and philosopical wordplay heartwarming animes, that we know today. That includes The Melancholy of haruhi suzumiya, Clannad, Lucky Star Kadokawa x Bandai Fuse - This tough combination has brought us the like of the web-anime series. Like the Melancholy of Haruhi-chan, And Gundam Seed Chibi. Second(genres): I go for the lively romatic and comedic types like : Nogizaka haruka no himitsu and Skip Beat and Special A! I also go for the Shounen types that will not seem to end any longer like : Bleach and Katekyo hitman reborn! Well, that's it I guess XD
