hi myLotters!
what would you do if your boy/girl friend say you must have longer hair or you should wear different kind of clothes or you should behave in some different manner..?? would you like to cange your style or behaviour according to your boy/girl friend or would you explain the person that he/she must accept your the way you are...?
i feel if you are unable to accept the person the way s/he is then the relationship should not be carried further. initially a person can change a bit but if regular changes are demanded then in the long run the couple would have problem in being togther.

well friend if my GF asks me to be fashionable then I will do it for her. If she asks me have long hair then I will tell my GF that my boss will not allow me if I have long hair. In this way, I will escape from some demands which she asks me and in this way I will see that our relationship is intact. If I want my GF not to wear some dresses which attract every male towards her and then like that she too expects from me, so, I have to fulfill her wishes. If she asks me become a muscular wrestler or something which cannot be achievable then I will convince her that it is not possible.. But generally I never change my style for anyone at any cost, I will explain them and if they still don't like it then its their problem and I will not care much about it..

Absolutely I will restrict if I need to change vital one. What do you say?? What will you do if your lover ask you dress in a way that you do not like too or ask you to dye your hair with gold color,etc.. I will simple give excuses and escape..

my former boyfriend used to advised me to change my looks but i don't listen to him... whenever he sees other attractive girls, he always compare me to them. when we broke up, i changed the way i look. i ended up liking it and i feel sorry for him since he was to win me back but i just turned him down... :D

you changed and now you look better but if you had changed for him he would have demanded another change... one cannot change with eevry demand.... a person is a human and not a commodity that changes with demand.. i feel you were right...if you are happy now...

I've had boyfriends try this with me.. and I tell them to stow it. If they don't like the way that I look and don't wish to support my decisions, I don't effin need them anyway!
The only thing that I really care about with grooming is hygeine! Be clean when you're not on the job (I mean some people do work jobs where they get really dirty) or stay away from me lol
