Does paypal work in the philippines?

Im new at this so i dont know if paypal really works in our country. I have looked it up at the list that mylot provided and it says there that paypal is not available in the philippines.BUT when i registered in paypal,philippines was in their list. Have anybody(from philippines) actually used paypal?Thanks
