If you have a family that consists of children, how do you make sure that you are keeping the family ties strong and values. How do you make sure that is being balanced along with regular upkeep of your home?

I try to make the most out of the things we have to do. My 4 kids and I spend all our days together, so chores are a group effort and the sooner we get done the more we get to play. We are learning how to work together. I also home school my kids so values are a topic of discussion almost every day.

I think that is great that you all work together to spend time together and work as a team to your family goals. And one being that you spend time together. They all get to work together to get to the finish line in a sense. I have wondered about homeschooling, but I don't think that I can handle that, they all really enjoy going to school so they can do something away from their siblings. And then I can prepare myself mentally for them and relieve some stress.

family time is about being physically and emotionally present with one's family. it takes an effort to be with our family especially if we are working hard to earn a living. however, the joy of spending time with our family is immeasurable and can't be matched by the money we will earn in our work. besides, we source our energy from our family if our work is stressing. make it habit to be with family; an hour or two or a day with them is worth it.

Yes, I agree it is a very busy time for now trying to just to keep up with the essentials. Pushing our families to work to maximum amounts. We should not take that time away from our families. I am very delighted to see that you spend 1-2 hours with them. That is wonderful!! Thanks for responding.
