09/09/09 Happy Birthday to me!

Today is a very special day. I am sure you have read about the date on yahoo news or some like site. This is the last time we will see a repeat of numbers for a date until 01/01/01 (3001). There is quite a buzz about what this could signify. Some believe it will bring luck, some think it will be disaterous.
Today is also my birthday, which makes me believe I will have a lucky day. I was born on 09/09/81 (9X9=81), which is a pretty neat birthdate to have.
As today goes on, I would love to hear any thoughts about weather there is luck in the air or the opposite!

anyway, next year, on 10th october the date would be 10/10/10... and last year on 8th august the date was 08/08/08... such dates keep repeating and they have their own importance. many people are saying that today is a special day for those born on this date... i have no idea about these calculations.

Hm.... I overlooked the 10/10/10, thanks for pointing that out for me! I hope it is a special day. Perhaps I will get out of work early, head home to a lobster bake and cupcakes and ginger icecream... if not know for sure I will walk in the door to my two beautiful sons and my wonderful husband!!!

Hi! My birthday is today as well.... and I was born in 81 too! Did you know that we turned 9 on 09-09-90? Did you know that we turned 18 (1+8=9)on 9-9-99? I'm sure you did! Today is another fabulous 9 event! Happy birthday to us! I think it's definately luck! I am blessed with a beautiful family and a wonderful life! I wish you the best today!

Awesome, I was wondering if someone else might show up with the same birthday. We certainly have had some interesting ones number wise! Happy birthday to you as well. Are you doing anything special? I feel the same about being blessed with beautiful family and a fantastic life. Hopefully there will be many more years to build on such a great foundation!

Thank you! I have always enjoyed my birthdate. It is very unique and it was always fun as a kid to show off my math skills :) Today is a great day and should bring much luck! I will always stay happy... My philosophy: smile and the world will smile back at you :)

Happy birthday dear! Well I do not believe in these inauspicious dates so I believe a date is after all a date like many others so what's new about it except for the birthdates though.

thanks for the birthday wish! I suppose your right, a date is a date. Perhaps the only reason it is special is because I believe it is special. I guess all that really matters is that we live each day to the fullest, right?
