Hey fellow Lotters! I'm just wondering if it's just me or are you also getting tired of Friendster / Multiply / Facebook or other social networking sites that you're using? I used Friendster at first but then I got tired and bored with it so I switched to Multiply. After just a few months I also got bored with it. And then I discovered Facebook which was very fun at first coz you get to play all these different games. I used to get addicted with the Farm Town, Sorority Life, Typing Maniac, and all those other games but then again after just a few months I also got bored and tired with it. How about you? Are you still very active with these sites? Happy Lotting!

I am part of Facebook and Myspace. But, I too, am getting very bored with them. I used to play Sorority Life all the time and refresh like a mad woman to see if anyone had made comments to me or sent me messages LOL. It was pathetic. I check them about once a day for now. But not much more than that.

I used to play Sorority Life too for like the whole day! Later, I realized that what I gain from it is like an empty happiness...I had fun alright but got bored in the end..

That's exactly what I felt after play Sorority Live, "empty happiness". I don't think you can really gain anything, but a long lost friend from these social networks. Sometimes, I wonder if it is worth the time we spend using them.

Hi veron. I still have accounts with Friendster and Facebook. But as of this time, I concentrate on myLot. It's not that I feel bored with these sites, but I thought time spent with myLot makes me more productive than socializing at those sites. By the way, thanks for reminding about multiply, but unfortunately, I already deleted my account... I checked your profile and found out that we're both from Lapu-Lapu, as you can see from my avatar. I know what you mean. Before, when I was an addict of these three sites, at the end of the day after using them, I always feel like I haven't profited anything. Good to know that we're from the same city! Happy Lotting!

Hi Veronizm, I dont even join all these social networking sites. I think it's a waste of time. At least we still earn some money by taking part in the discussion in mylot, what do social networking sites offer? If there is a way to make money out of social networking sites, then there's at least a motivation factor to join. Other than that, I think it's a complete time waster. I rather spend time doing something that will generate some returns. Blogging is fun, and has the potential to make big money. I can't see what I can get out of Facebook or whatever

Yeah I know. I also think they're just a waste of time. Although not totally. I'm not active anymore but I still keep it for my blog promotion purposes, lol. I send out links for my posts in there. So far that's the only benefit I can get from them, aside from some occasional fun.

Since I dont have any account at social networking site, beside mylot, I dont use them for blog promotion. I do have account with Blogcatalogue and Technorati, it works quite well, just that I'm too lazy to visit the blogs and leave comments for other bloggers.

1st time i use friendster.... But now i not anymore, but I still active in Facebook, just to keep contact with some old friends. I know that site doesn't earn money, but at least can make connected with your friends.. That's the important things. ^^ I play game too sometimes in Facebook.. but just for fun and killing my time. Luckily i find this site (Mylot), so I can earn money from discussion that I alway do in Facebook.. ^^ Thank You My Lot... ^^

I know what you mean! I love Facebook, but it's getting old too! I haven't given up on it yet though. I used to love Yahoo 360, then they changed it and it sucks now. I really hate MySpace - sick of all the immature drama. Shoot, for that matter, even MyLot is started to get old - you try and try to keep interested, but the money is so slow, the discussions are at times boring or so specific that I can't get excited anymore! (Have you tried Twitter? It's not for me, but you might like it.)

LOL! So far I'm still enjoying myLot. And I haven't tried MySpace, and I'm not gonna give it a try coz for sure I'd easily get tired of it. I already have Twitter. And since I signed up I only logged in for like 5 times, lol!

Before, I won't last the day without opening my Multiply and Friendster site. However, I realized after opening an account with facebook how limited the applications those two have. I became a facebook fanatic. I normally open my FB account to play "typing maniac" and "restaurant city" =)

I've been a friendster member long time ago, I open it once in a while now. I also got MySpace, Facebook, Multiply, WAYN, Yuwie and some that I already forgot. I rarely open them, I register only to experience being a member. You'll be surprise that lot of people are into it. I even encounter friends, classmate that I already forgot, and some relative in a far areas. It exites you a few days or even months, but overtime you'll get tired of it. I guest its the law of deminishing return.

I haven't gotten bored with hardly any of mine. I use Facebook to connect with my friends from High School. I use Myspace to play a game called mobsters. We have little mob families and start wars and stuff like that. I am also with Yuwie. I use it primarily to promote the online businesses i am in and get referrals. Yuwie is a pay site. you get paid per page view and how much depends on what the RSR is for the month. You can check out Yuwie by going to my profile and there is a banner that will take you to the video about how it works! Good Luck!

Hey there Veronizm, as for me I never did bother to get involved with all of that. I figure when it all gets right down to it. If you work hard on one site, you can make a decent amount of money and have faithful friends so why bother running here and there when you can get all your needs met right at one. Mylot is just fine with me for the time being. There is another one that I might sign up for it's called squiggle or something like that but I haven't signed up for it yet. Although I do happen to think it's a very good site. Also there is a** content which is pretty good writing site. With all of them they want you to get lots of referrals and such so I figure, one or two at most is good enough for me......Please add me as a friend if you are pretty active, would love to chat with you more! have a great day!CC!

I joined multiply before I went on friendster. I dont have an account with facebook or myspace because i dont want to be found and i dont really wanna stay in touch with people i grew up with because they are superficial. the only ones i stay in touch with are the people who are real friends. They are the ones who have my email address, phone numbers - all my contact info. I have my friendster account but its been like 2 years since I last updated it. It's boring and most people on my list, I dont even talk to. My multiply stays alive with photography posts I make every now and then but thats pretty much it. :-) happy mylotting
