has the economic recession inspired you to go back to school for a degree?

I graduated over a year ago and despite finding a few jobs, the pay was terrible and my parents didn't want me taking them since I am a college grad and they say I deserve a better income. Now I find myself trapped at home sending out tons of resumés which seem to fall on deaf ears... or.. blind eyes.. or whatever. I want to go back for my master's but I first wanted to gain some real job experience and also save up some money. Now I'm really confused and am not even sure what major to go for. Anyway, how about you? Have you gone back to school for a bachelor's or master's degree with hopes of getting a better job when the economy improves?

i want to go back to school or at least take some more specialized courses not because of recession but because i want to and that those learnings are simple essential for me..i'm a college graduate and i've passed the licensure exams so i am a professional right now and i do believe that there are really a lot of opportunities out there..it's just my being lazy which is the hindrance to my success somehow

I had that decision to make here a few months back about going back to finish what I started a few years back. I did decide to go back. Why? I also felt like that I needed to do something because of the recession. Im hoping by the time I finish it will open market for jobs. It doesn't really help right now but I need to build and work toward the future. You have a nice day...
