The Cost Of sugar in India is Increasing Day by Day. What do You think The Main Reason Behind This? Because Of Festival Season Coming a Head The Store Keepers Are Increasing The Cost Of Sugar Day by Day. Do You Have Any Other Reasons For The increase Of Costs In India.?

The main reason for this is the late coming of the monsoons and the less rainfall this year. Bihar considered to the well known state for sugar canes was once said to be suffering from drought but soon rain poured down giving the land some relief.
Another reason is that the profit makers want to make profit and for that they hide a big stock and waited for the costs to get high.
Not only sugar but almost all the prices of all the things are rising high and its being very difficult for a middle class person to even live a peaceful life.

hi thanks for you response , Another Reason for the increase of Cost of Sugar is Increase of Cost Of Rice & Wheat , Because of this farmers are Growing More amounts of Paddy . i am from andhrapradesh , i have Seen many Farmers Growing Paddy .The production of Sugar this Yea has come Down and There is Still a Chance To increase the costs.
