"The Happening" Stupid but Buged me "spoilers if you didn't see it"

Ok I watched thsi movie when it came out to video. I watched it from Start to finish. And I have to say it was a Stupid movie. I mean people killing themselves because of Trees?! I mean what the hell?! I was just watching and thinking of how messed up it was.
And after we got down watching it I was thinking about it. If that could really happen? Or would people be able to not control themselves? I mean really who in there mind would lay down and start a law mower to run them over to kill themselves?!
It messed me up so bad that I had dreams about it for four nights. And finally I stopped thinking about it. Is this just me or did this happen to other people?
Or have you seen the movie and what do you think about it? Stupid, Funny?

I had high hopes for this movie because it's an M.Night Shyamalan's creation and starring one of my favorite actor Mark Wahlberg but it was crushed. I think M. Night has run out of ideas for a good movie. I think the last good one he did was The Village. After that it was like all downhill. The Happening has a ridiculous premise. Like you said how on earth can trees make people want to kill themselves. Absolutely ridiculous.

That is was. It freaked me out a little bit. I mean think about it he thing that gives you fresh air or life can kill you? Just doesn't make since.

I think what M.Night Shyamalan is trying to tell us is that humans have been cruel to nature and now it's nature's turn to take their revenge but with trees? So ridiculous. At least do it with the weather or the ocean or the earth. You know you can have a storm or a tsunami or the earthquake. But then that would be so obvious. He doesn't want to do the obvious.

I know exactly what you mean. I had really high expectations because M. Night Shaymalan is a freaking genius and I was captivated through the whole thing....right up to the end. When it just stopped. That was FREAKING FRUSTRATING! What the hell?!
But you're right. What if it did happen? And it could. I think there is a lot that people don't understand about the physiology of plants. Like, they don't have brains so they can't think or process information...which they weren't in this movie either but they were reacting to a situation that was slowly killing them. Pretty freaky stuff there.

Yea it was. Even though Iwas thinking about it. It still freaked me out. Even though I truly though it was stupid. I mean I understand the message that he's saying if we don't start doing something to take care of are planet... Than It's not gonna take care of us.. Or in this instance will take care of us just in another manner.

the happening is a great movie!!! its about the earth taking revenge on us!!! its more or less saying if u dont watch what ur doing to the enviorment,,,, i will.
