When deciding which type of motherboard / mainboard i'll be buying, I always keep in mind only two things, brand and price. I always prefer Asus since in my personal experience it's quite good and last long, and for the price, i always considered not the pricey one, since two or three months in future, your top of the line motherboard will go down the list. So I always make sure to see the latest and settle on the 3rd one, it will not be top choice but not far behind and save considerable amount of money. Graphics editing will always rely on Video graphics card and memory, even if you have the fastest motherboard without a good video card it will be useless. If you are into Graphics editing, buy a resonable motherboard and spend more on Video/Graphics card and memory and it will have a big impact on your editing.
